Vegansk kokkekurs / Indian cookery class with Aarti Kapoor
Aarti Kapoor is passionate about creating recipes that reflect Indian cuisine inspired by what her mother and many generations before her prepared. Through her blog and food courses she shares traditional recipes focusing on home-style Indian food – food that is flavorful and delicious, yet simple and easy to cook.
Indian cuisine is packed full of vegan recipes that use a variety of ingredients and spices to pack an appetizing punch. Many popular Indian dishes that are traditionally non-vegan can also be altered with vegan ingredients and taste just as good, if not tastier.
Aarti Kapoor will be demonstrating the following recipes:
- Green Moong Daal: Green moong lentils seasoned with Indian spices. Simple and delicious lentils curry that is a staple in most North Indian homes.
- Chickpea flour pancakes: A vegan treat! The classic Indian savory pancake made with chickpea flour is a popular breakfast in North India. These pancakes are the simplest form and are easy and perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a side flatbread.
Reducing our consumption of animal products is one way to reduce our environmental impact.
